Sunday the 2nd was the birthday of one of my very close friends. And not being able to congratulate him in person got me thinking...
Thinking about how little I see of my friends recently as compared to how much time we used to spend together. And how in a very weird, surprising way, it has made us mean even more to each other.
We've grown up a little and now we all have to work extremely hard to earn our own living. The easy days of our childhoods are over - now is a tough time with no time for rest - but only to be replaced again in the future with easier times earned by our current hard work (or so I tell myself).
This goes out to all my friends who I love so much. You're the best and I can't imagine my life without you. Don't worry - we still have all our lives to spend together. I know we will.
If you have someone you cherish as a friend but haven't called or messaged in quite a while because you got caught up in the rush - you should do it. Right now. Just tell them how much you miss them. I could never count the times that such unexpected messages from my friends put a smile upon my face those days that I was feeling especially down.
All this made me realize one more thing - I never shared the pictures of my birthday party anywhere, so here they are. God did we have a blast.
I love you, guys. You're the best.
Vero and Angelochek - I really wished you were there...
Dima - words could never describe what it meant to me to see your happy face that eve beside me. Thanks for travelling from so far away.
Slava Gee - thanks for making this happen!!! THANK!!! YOU!!!!!!!!
Everyone who was there going wild with me - thank you so much. You know the way I feel. I love you. Every year on the 16th of September you make me realize how heavenly blessed I am with my friends. God am I blessed...
AND KOLECHKA - HAPPY BIRTHDAY ONCE AGAIN. I hope you're the happiest out there. Today. Every day. Always.
P.S.: Zino, you got to hear it in person - but yeah, happy birthday to you once again, too:)
... attention to the guy in the background:)
...here comes my bro:)
... meanwhile...
xoxo,
Alina
